Pune : Jod-Raga in Vasantotsav Vimarsha 2024

Pune, January 15, 2024: Vasantrao Deshpande Pratishthan organizes ‘Vasantotsav Vimarsha’ every year, featuring a thematic lecture, demonstration, or workshop. A special lecture-cum-demonstration on ‘Jod-Ragas’ (an amalgam of Ragas) will be presented in ‘Vimarsha’ this year.

‘Jod-Raga’ will take place on Tuesday, 16th January 2024, from 6:30 pm to 9 pm at Pandit Farms Cultural Centre, Erandwane, Pune. All music students, musicians, and connoisseurs are invited. This program is free and open to all.

In this program, renowned vocalist Pt. Dr Ram Deshpande will render some special Jod-Ragas, with Dr Chaitanya Kunte (Harmonium) and Sanjay Deshpande (Tabla).
