Pune : Kondhwa Police Nabs Nephew for Killing His Own Uncle Over Rs 100 Dispute

PUNE: In a shocking incident, a man killed his own uncle as he refused to pay the charges for labour work. The accused has been identified as Sachin Ram Yenalvaad. The victim is identified as Anant Shankarrao Kalgire.
As per information, the deceased is a resident of Hanumannagar, Pisoli, Pune and his nephew did labour work with him. The nephew asked for money from his uncle for the said work. However, when the uncle refused to pay the labour work charges, the nephew, completely drunk, hit his uncle on the head with a rod and seriously injured him and absconded to Nanded. The victim was rushed to Sassoon Hospital where he died during treatment.
Senior Police Inspector Santosh Sonawane ordered a search for the accused. Kondhwa Police discovered that the accused had absconded to Nanded. In pursuance of the information received, after going to Nanded with the help of the local police, a team of Kondhwa police searched for the accused and the accused was caught and imprisoned while he was hiding in a farm.
A case of murder has been registered under Indian Penal Code (IPC) Section 302 at Kondhwa Police Station. Further investigation of the case is going on.
