Pune : Kondhwa woman physically abuses minor; FIR registered

Pune: On August 20, an FIR was registered with the Kondhwa police against a woman who repeatedly established forceful physical relations with a minor. She also allegedly threatened to file a police complaint against him if he did not fulfill her demands. 

As per information from Santosh Sonawane, Senior Police Inspector, Kondhwa Police Station, from, approximately May 1, 2021 to November 2022, the boy’s neighbor, identified as Anamika Kothari (name changed), allegedly forced him to have sexual relations with her against his will and asked him to shoot the video of him having sexual relations with her. She also threatened him that she would report it to the police. She forced him two to three times. As a result, the minor boy has registered a legal complaint against the accused.

A case has been registered under Section 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) & Sections 3, 4, 5 (N), 5 (L) and 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act, 2012 (POCSO). Further investigation in the case is going on.
