Pune: Kothrud Based Joshi's Museum Of Miniature Railways Celebrates 27th Anniversary
Pune, April 03, 2025 : City based Joshi’s museum of miniature railways celebrated its 27th foundation day last Tuesday. Girish Chitale, Director of the famous Chitale Dairy of Bhilwadi in Sangli District was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Devavrat and Ravi Joshi from the Joshi’s Museum of Miniature Railways were also present on the occasion. Chitale unveiled the special section of the website of the museum which will extend help to all those who are looking to develop the hobby of train modelling which is very popular in the developed countries. Equipment required for train modelling shall be made available through this special section of the website. Joshi’s Museum has developed a miniature static model of Pune Metro. It was also unveiled by Girish Chitale.

Speaking on the occasion Girish Chitale Said, “I have visited this museum about 2 decades ago and equally enjoyed this show of miniature railways after so many years. This museum is a perfect blend of art and science. This museum provides information about various forms of railways in an entertaining way of a specially devised show having light and sound effects. Different types of railways are an important part of our day to day life and the modernization of Indian railways is happening at a rapid pace so now all those who see this museum can relate in a much better way now.”
Ravi Joshi of Joshi’s Museum said, “On last anniversary we created a static model of Vande Bharat. This year we have created a miniature static model of Pune Metro, which is helping us to commute with comfort. These models will be available at some metro stations soon.”
