Pimpri, May 15, 2026: A long-running dispute over the name of a housing project in Pimple Saudagar has finally been resolved after city land survey authorities ordered correction of an allegedly incorrect entry in official property records. The decision was issued by Pimpri-Chinchwad City Survey Officer Amit Nanaware, who directed officials to remove the wrongly recorded cooperative housing society name from the property card and restore the original condominium name as mentioned in the registered legal documents.

The dispute was related to “The Jarvari Apartment Condominium” project developed on Survey Nos. 1294 to 1300 in Pimple Saudagar. According to records, the builder had executed a proper conveyance deed for the condominium project in 2015. However, during mutation entry No. 353 dated June 30, 2020, the property card allegedly recorded the name as “Jarvari Cooperative Housing Society Ltd.” instead of the original condominium name.

The incorrect entry reportedly raised concerns among residents over possible future legal complications.

Senior citizen Yashwant Digambar Chaudhary pursued the matter with the Revenue Department and challenged the entry, claiming it was inconsistent with the original registered documents. He submitted supporting documents showing that the registered conveyance deed clearly referred to the property as a condominium and not a cooperative housing society.

After hearing arguments from both sides and examining documentary evidence, City Survey Officer Amit Nanaware ruled in favour of the objection raised by Chaudhary.

In the order, authorities cancelled the incorrect society name recorded under mutation entry No. 353 and directed officials to restore the original name, “The Jarvari Apartment Condominium,” in the property records.

Residents said the decision has brought major relief to apartment owners and highlighted the importance of maintaining transparency and accuracy in land and housing records. The ruling is also being viewed as an important step towards preventing legal disputes and fraudulent property record entries in future.
