Pune Bavdhan, 1 December 2025: The leopard sighting near Hotel D Palaceon the NDA–Pashan Road has been officially confirmed by the Forest Department. The footage captured on a mobile phone is genuine, and teams have completed on-site verification.
According to officials, the leopard was seen around 12.30 am on December 1. There have been no sightings reported after that. Early assessments indicate that the animal likely moved along the Ramnadi nala corridor, a known pathway connecting the NDA hill area to the Mulshi belt. Experts note that leopards have traditionally been present around the NDA hill region due to its natural forest cover.
