Pune : Lonavla Police Crack Down on Obscene Activities: 9 Arrested in Bungalow Raid
In a recent crackdown on indecent activities, Lonavla police apprehended nine individuals, including four female dancers, for their involvement in disturbances and lewd behavior within a bungalow situated in the Tungarli area of Lonavla on Saturday night. Responding to a tip-off, law enforcement officers swiftly conducted a raid on the aforementioned bungalow, where they apprehended the suspects amidst loud music and explicit acts. Confiscating music systems and other relevant items, the police ensured a thorough investigation.
SDPO Satya Sai Karthik, overseeing the Lonavla Division, stated, “We have detained nine individuals for their involvement in loud music and indecent behavior. We urge all bungalow owners to ensure the prevention of illegal activities within their premises and to provide detailed information about tenants.”
This incident follows closely on the heels of another, where Lonavla police arrested 15 individuals for the production of pornographic material within a private bungalow. This has prompted heightened vigilance among law enforcement officials, who are actively monitoring private bungalows for any illicit activities.
A case has been registered at the Lonavla City Police Station under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, IPC, and the Maharashtra Police Act. Investigations are currently ongoing to address the matter comprehensively.
