Pune Macrographers Showcases Collection of 60 Captivating Macro Photographs of Animals

Pune: ‘Pune Macrographers’ had organized a beautiful macro photography exhibition called ‘Sukshma’ about various breeds and kinds of animals at Yashwantrao Chavan Natyagruha & Art Gallery, Pune.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Mihir Chhatre, exhibition organizer and owner of a software company said, “People often see and witness animals like tiger, lion, dog, cat and birds like crow, sparrow, pigeons and more. However, there is an endearing world of subtle & beautiful fauna. Hence, a group of 6 members including me wanted to introduce people to a world of animals, birds and nature which is not frequently seen in everyday life. Mostly, people are disgusted or feel fearful after seeing insects and reptiles. However, we want to change that. Hence, we have put enlarged photographs of insects, reptiles & other animals to showcase the real beauty.”
As per information from Chhatre, the exhibition was all about the macro world around everyone which includes a lot of insects, snakes, amphibians & other kinds of animals. There were a total of 60 photos in the exhibition which were contributed by more than 31 photographers & contributors. The exhibition was organized by 6 members of Pune Macrographers.
Along with Mihir Chhatre, 5 other people who had organized the exhibition were Anvay Nakade, Shashank Gandhi, Pushkar Achyute, Sushil Joshi and Lucky Jaiswal.
The exhibition was held at Yashwantrao Chavan Natyagruha & Art Gallery between 10 am to 8 pm till June 25, 2023.
