Pune: Man Allegedly Sets Three German Shepherds on Father-Son Duo After Parking Dispute
Pune, April 1, 2026: A disturbing incident has been reported from the Wanowrie area, where a man allegedly set his three pet German Shepherd dogs on a father and son following an argument over vehicle parking.
According to police, the dispute began when a 65, a resident of Azad Nagar, Wanowrie requested his neighbour to move vehicles parked in front of his gate. The vehicles were blocking the entry of a truck delivering construction material to the complainant’s property.
Officials said the accused refused to move the vehicles and allegedly got into a heated argument. When the complainant and his son attempted to shift the vehicles themselves, the accused reportedly released his three dogs on them in anger.
During the attack, one of the dogs bit the complainant’s son severely on his left leg, causing heavy bleeding. Police also stated that the accused allegedly assaulted the duo with an object and issued threats during the incident.
The Wanowrie Police Station has registered a case against the accused under relevant legal provisions. Further investigation into the matter is currently underway.
