Pune, April 1, 2026: A case has been registered against social media personality Santosh Pandit for allegedly misbehaving with a woman journalist during a protest held on Tilak Road in the city.

According to police, the incident took place during a demonstration organised near a college to protest a case reported in Nashik. The woman journalist had reached the spot to cover the protest when Pandit allegedly arrived and began creating a disturbance.

Officials said the accused not only argued aggressively but also made obscene and derogatory remarks about the journalist’s clothing. Despite her objections, he allegedly recorded her on his mobile phone without consent.
