Couple Quarreled Before the Incident
According to police, Sohail and his wife had an argument at their residence earlier that day. The couple later arrived at Shivajinagar court seeking a divorce, but the quarrel continued within the court premises. As tensions escalated, Sohail took the extreme step.
Since it was a court holiday, very few people were present at the time of the incident. Following the legal procedure, an accidental death report (ADR) has been filed at Shivajinagar police station, and an investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the incident.
Senior Police Inspector Chandrashekhar Sawant stated, “Further investigation is on.”
