Pune: Man Seriously Injured After Being Dragged On Car Bonnet For 2 km Following Road Dispute
Pune, January 20, 2026: A serious road rage incident was reported from Sangamwadi Road in Pune, where a young man was dragged on the bonnet of a car for nearly two kilometres following an argument with a woman driver. A video of the incident has since circulated widely on social media, drawing strong reactions from the public.
According to preliminary information, the incident began with a dispute between the two motorists. Both were reportedly driving separate cars when the argument escalated.
At an intersection near Kalyani Nagar, the man attempted to stop the woman’s vehicle by positioning his car ahead of hers and later stood in front of her vehicle.
Eyewitnesses said the woman did not stop the car and continued driving, during which the man was carried on the bonnet for a considerable distance. After approximately two kilometres, the driver applied sudden brakes, causing the man to fall onto the road. He sustained serious injuries and was rushed for medical treatment.
Police have taken note of the viral footage and are investigating the circumstances leading to the incident, including statements from both parties and available video evidence.
