Pune Metro Partners with Rapido to Improve Last-Mile Connectivity
Auto feeder service to begin at Ramwadi station, rollout planned across all metro stations
In an effort to make commuting easier, Pune Metro has partnered with Rapido to introduce auto feeder services for passengers. The move is aimed at improving first- and last-mile connectivity, helping commuters travel smoothly to and from metro stations.
The service will be launched initially at Ramwadi Metro Station and will be expanded in phases to cover all Pune Metro stations, officials said.
According to Pune Metro authorities, the initiative is expected to make station access more convenient and encourage more people to use public transport.
The agreement was signed in the presence of General Manager Captain Dr Rajendra Saner-Patil (MMI/HR), Senior Deputy General Manager Sujit Kanade, along with representatives from Rapido and Pune Metro.
