Pune: Many metro stations in Pune do not have space for passengers to park their vehicles. Due to this, passengers are facing great inconvenience. Keeping this in mind, Maha Metro will start parking lots at 12 stations.

As per information, Shravan Hardikar, Managing Director of Maha Metro said that at present there are no parking spaces at many metro stations. Therefore, it will be constructed at 12 stations for the convenience of passengers. Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is providing the space required for the parking.

Bus ‘Feeder Seva’ is being run by PMPML in the vicinity of every metro station. There is a feeder service for passengers to reach their destination from the metro station and from metro stations to their destinations as well. A station-wise survey will soon be conducted to improve this. Hardikar clarified that the help of PMPML will be taken for this.

Earlier, in a concerted effort to enhance Pune Metro’s overall service and ridership, Maha Metro showed readiness to conduct a comprehensive station-by-station survey
