Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority demolishes 14,969 square feet of unauthorized structures in Bhugaon
As per the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) unauthorized construction of over 14,969 square feet was demolished on Tuesday. Four hotels and resorts near Manas sarovar area had constructed illegal structures.
Areas namely Manas chowpatty, Thalasa, Hotel 90 degrees and 3 stage were demolished.
The cost of demolishing will be recovered from those who constructed illegal construction. Unauthorised construction of Manas chowpatty of 4453 square feet, Thalasaa – 3064 square feet, 3 stage 2940 square feet and Hotel 90 degree – 4512 square feet was demolished with the help of two poklaine machines.
