Pune: MHADA Extends Deadline to November 30 for Pune Housing Scheme Applications
Pune, November 21, 2025: The Pune Housing and Area Development Board has extended the deadline for submitting applications for its ongoing housing schemes to November 30, 2025. The extension comes in response to repeated requests from citizens who sought additional time to complete documentation and participate in the housing lottery. The schemes were initially announced through an advertisement published on September 11, 2025.
As per the original schedule, the last date for submitting applications was October 31, 2025. Following early feedback from applicants, the deadline was first pushed to November 21, 2025. Despite this extension, many applicants reported challenges in gathering the required paperwork, prompting MHADA to consider their appeals for additional time.
With the rising demand and enthusiastic response from citizens across Pune and adjoining regions, MHADA reviewed the situation and agreed to allow more time for submissions. The deadline has now been formally extended to November 30, 2025. Officials said this decision aims to ensure that more eligible applicants can participate without being constrained by administrative delays or documentation issues.
According to MHADA’s Chief Officer, Rahul Sakore, all other terms and conditions of the schemes will remain unchanged. Applicants must continue to follow the guidelines laid out in the September 11 advertisement, which details eligibility criteria, income categories, and documentation requirements for various housing units offered under the scheme.
The extension is expected to benefit first-time applicants as well as those who had begun the process but were unable to complete it within the previous deadlines. MHADA has urged citizens to complete their applications at the earliest to avoid last-minute rush and technical issues on the portal.
The Pune Housing Board has also assured applicants that all lottery procedures will be carried out transparently, with the revised schedule to be announced following the completion of the application phase on November 30.
