Pune: Mireya Foundation Distributes Raincoats to Traffic Police Officers Battling the Monsoon
As the monsoon intensifies across the city, Mireya Foundation took a step toward supporting the unsung heroes of our roads – the traffic police. In a thoughtful gesture, the Foundation distributed 45 high-quality raincoats to one of the city’s key traffic divisions today.
The initiative was led by Ridhiema Virddi, Smrite Mody, and Manpritt Virddi from Mireya Foundation, who personally handed over the raincoats to the traffic personnel. Present at the event was PI Pandharkar, the head of the division, who appreciated the timely support and acknowledged the foundation’s consistent efforts in community welfare.
“Our traffic officers stand tirelessly in the rain, ensuring smooth traffic flow and public safety. Providing them with raincoats is a small way of showing our gratitude and easing their daily challenges during this season especially now that the Palki is crossing our area and these officers will be on their toes,” said the founders of Mireya Foundation.
The Foundation aims to continue such initiatives across more divisions during the rainy season and calls upon citizens and organizations to join in their mission of bringing practical help to those who serve the public, rain or shine.
