Pune: MNS Leader Beats Up Bullet Rider for Creating Nuisance with Loud Silencer
MNS Takes Action Against Bullet Rider for Loud Silencer Noise in Pune
Pune: The nuisance caused by motorcycles with loud, firecracker-like silencers has become a common issue in cities. Despite frequent complaints from citizens and police action, reckless bullet riders continue to disturb the peace.
In Pune’s Nigdi area, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) took matters into its own hands instead of waiting for the police to act. Sachin Chikhale, city president of Pimpri-Chinchwad MNS, confronted a bullet rider known for causing excessive noise and dealt with him in the party’s signature style—by physically reprimanding him.
The incident occurred near Mata Amritanand School, Shivbhumi School, and Modern School, where local residents and college students had been facing repeated disturbances from such riders. Following complaints, MNS decided to take strict action. Chikhale, along with some party members, physically assaulted the bullet rider, slapping him multiple times.
A video of the incident has since gone viral on social media.
