Pune: MSEDCL introduces ‘Help Desk’ for electricity connections in PMRDA projects

Pune: The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Corporation Limited (MSEDCL) has taken a proactive step to expedite electricity connections in the newly allotted houses of Jadhav Wadi Sector 12 by launching a dedicated ‘help desk’ at the Bhosari branch. This move aims to assist citizens and resolve any issues they may encounter during the process.

In light of recent incidents involving fraudsters exploiting individuals seeking new electricity connections, MSEDCL has issued a warning to the public. The corporation advises citizens to be cautious and report any suspicious activities. Additional executive engineers will be available at the respective branches or the newly established help desk to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.

To facilitate online applications for new electricity connections, MSEDCL has provided guidelines for citizens in need of support. Those requiring assistance with completing an online application are encouraged to visit the Bhosari Gaon branch with the necessary documents. At the branch, the MSEDCL officials will assist in filling out the online application, verifying the documents, providing a quotation, and subsequently making new meters available.

Although the availability of electricity meters is limited, MSEDCL is committed to providing new meters and electricity connections to the PMRDA project. Approximately 3,100 new meters will be made available in total. As of now, MSEDCL has received 1,919 applications for new connections, with 1,501 connections already granted.
