Some areas of Mulshi taluka are expected to undergo a six-hour planned power outage on Sunday, March 3, as part of a scheduled maintenance work, which is required for the Pirangut 220/22 KV ultra-high pressure substation repair work.

As per further information from MSEDCL, due to the repair work of power transformer in Pirangut 220/22 KV ultra-high pressure substation of Mahapareshan, the power supply of about 6 thousand consumers in some villages of Mulshi taluka will be cut off from 8 am to 2 pm on Sunday (3rd March).

The information in this regard is that a fault has been detected in the power transformer of 50 MVA capacity in Pirangut 220/22 KV substation of Mahapareshan. Its repair work will start on Sunday morning. For that, the power supply of five power lines of Maha distribution from this sub-centre will have to be shut off.

In this, 4 power lines are for high voltage consumers while one power line goes to Ghotavade, Bhare, Rihe, Katarkhadak, Pimpoli, Mulkhed, Khanekar Vasti, Bhegdewadi, Ozharkarwadi, Andhele Gaon, Borkarwadi, Amlewadi, Matarwadi, Padalkarwadi, Landgewadi, Kemsewadi, Khamboli, Godambiwadi one and two, Shelkewadi, Deokarwadi etc.

Therefore, the power supply of about 6 thousand low pressure and four high pressure consumers will be shut down from 8 am to 2 pm on Sunday. Mahavitaran and Mahapareshan have appealed to cooperate during this period.
