According to an official notification issued by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Himmat Jadhav, traffic regulations will be enforced on January 14 for ballot box distribution, January 15 for polling, and January 16 for vote counting. The measures aim to prevent congestion near polling centres, counting venues, schools, colleges and various administrative offices.

The restrictions will be in effect daily from 6 am to 7 pm, depending on local requirements. Vehicles providing essential services—such as police, fire brigade, ambulances and vehicles involved in election duties—will be exempted.
