Details emerging from the scene reveal that the Shivshahi bus was en route to Nashik from Pune. Amidst this journey, as the bus approached the Narayangaon bypass, the driver made a split-second decision to veer off course in an attempt to prevent a potential collision with the two-wheeler. Unfortunately, in the process of evasive maneuvering, a collision ensued between the bus and a container that was sharing the road.

The impact of the collision led to minor injuries for 14 passengers who were promptly attended to by emergency services. A dramatic twist occurred as the bus’s doors unexpectedly became locked following the collision. Undeterred, resourceful passengers shattered the front glass to escape the confined vehicle.
