Pune News: 12-Year-Old Killed, Mother Injured After Speeding Car Hits Two-Wheeler in Kothrud
Pune: A speeding car crashed into a two-wheeler on DP Road in Kothrud, resulting in the death of a 12-year-old boy and leaving his mother critically injured. The incident occurred near Shantiban Chowk and Ashish Garden Chowk around 8:10 PM on May 19.
The victim was riding pillion with his mother, Priyanka Panse (44), a resident of Kothrud, when the accident took place. According to police, the car was being driven at high speed and in a reckless manner, violating traffic rules.
Following the incident, a case has been registered against the unidentified driver. Police are currently investigating the matter and efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the accused.
