Pune News: All India Nau Sainik Camp Of NCC Commences At INS Shivaji In Lonavla

The All India Nau Sainik Camp 2024 (AINSC 24) of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) is being conducted at INS Shivaji, Lonavala from 26 Aug to 05 Sep 24.

More than 600 NCC cadets from 17 Directorate across the country have arrived at INS Shivaji to participate in this Camp. During the camp, the cadets will participate in a multitude of activities that will challenge them both physically and mentally, with a range of competitions, exercises and workshops designed to enhance their leadership skills. All the teams will be competing in team as well as other individual competitions to win the coveted Best Directorate Trophy. During the course of AINSC 24, senior officers from the Indian Navy and NCC would also interact with the cadets. The participants will get an opportunity to witness the marine engineering  training facilities at INS Shivaji.

Vice Admiral Gurcharan Singh, AVSM, NM Commandant National Defence Academy was the Chief Guest for the opening ceremony held on 26 Aug 24. In his address, he encouraged the cadets to keep the spirit of ‘Nation First’ always, while putting their best foot forward. He interacted with the cadets of all participating directorates and exhorted them to compete with the spirit of camaraderie.
