A shocking road rage incident occurred on September 27, 2024, around 5:30 p.m., near Rakshak Chowk, outside the Aundh Military Station gate. Rishabh Verma, a car driver traveling from Punawale to Kharadi to pick up his wife, experienced aggressive behavior from an auto-rickshaw driver.
The conflict started when Verma attempted to overtake the auto-rickshaw on Aundh Road. Tensions escalated, leading to the auto driver allegedly stomping on Verma’s car and trying to physically attack him.
Verma reported the incident by filing a written complaint at Sangvi Police Station. However, as of now, no action has been taken against the auto driver. The altercation has raised concerns about road safety and the growing issue of road rage in the area.
