Residents of Bhagyoday Nagar, Kondhwa, are grappling with critical infrastructure issues, including the lack of proper roads and adequate street lighting, which have severely impacted their safety and daily lives.

Over the past year, three fire and emergency incidents have occurred in the area, but fire engines could not reach the site due to the absence of accessible roads. Despite being a government-sanctioned Development Plan (DP) road stretching from Jyoti Restaurant to Kumar Prithvi, the pathway remains inaccessible, posing significant risks during emergencies.

The locality also suffers from rampant encroachments and the construction of illegal multi-story buildings without proper parking facilities, leaving even two-wheelers with limited parking options. Residents have raised these concerns multiple times with local authorities and politicians but have seen no tangible action to resolve the issues.

The community urges immediate intervention to make the DP road operational, remove encroachments, and improve infrastructure, emphasizing that delays could lead to further risks to life and property.
