Pune, December 8: A shocking incident has emerged from Pune, where a call claiming a bomb was planted on Platform No. 2 of Pune Railway Station caused panic among the police. The Pune City Police received a threatening call about the bomb, which triggered an immediate response from law enforcement. The caller, who was later found to be intoxicated, has been arrested.

The control room of Pune City Police received the threatening call at around 9:00 AM, claiming that a bomb was placed on Platform No. 2 of Pune Railway Station. Recognizing the seriousness of the situation, police quickly launched an investigation and apprehended the suspect. The accused is identified as a 40-year-old man named Sagar Bhandari, a resident of Ravet’s Kiwale Gaothan area in Pimpri-Chinchwad.

Preliminary investigations revealed that Bhandari made the call under the influence of alcohol as a prank to draw attention. Pimpri-Chinchwad Police have registered a case against him and are conducting further investigations.
