Pune News : BSF Jawan arrested for molesting woman at Pune airport

Pune: In a shocking incident, a Border Security Force (BSF) jawaan was arrested by police for allegedly harassing an air hostess at Pune Airport on July 2.Â
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Vilas Sonde, Police Inspector, Vimantal Police Station said, “The complainant, an air hostess, was waiting for a ride she had booked online just outside Pune airport.
A BSF jawaan identified as Ganesh Salunkhe approached her and requested her mobile phone to make an emergency call. When she refused, Salunkhe forcefully grabbed her and tried to molest her. However, she immediately started shouting and nearby people immediately came to her rescue. They caught Salunkhe and handed him over to the Vimantal police.”
As per information, the Vimantal police immediately took him into their custody where a case has been registered under Section 354 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Further investigation is going on.
