Pune News : Private Teacher Booked for Beating & Threatening Student; FIR Registered at Kothrud Police Station

Pune: The police have filed an FIR against a private coaching class teacher for allegedly beating a 12-year-old student with a steel rod on Sunday and threatening to strip him naked.
As per the information, the teacher got infuriated as the student was locked up inside the bathroom and was repeatedly banging on the door.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Hemant Patil, Police Inspector, Kothrud Police Station said, “The accused runs a private coaching class in Kothrud. On July 2, when the 12-year-old boy went to the washroom, a friend allegedly locked the door from outside. He kept banging on the door, seeking help. This made the coaching class teacher angry. She threatened him of stripping him naked and parading him in the locality. It is also alleged that the teacher injured him with a steel rod.”
As per information from Hemant Patil, a case has been registered against the teacher under Sections 324 & 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) & Section 75 of the Juvenile Justice Act. Further probe is going on about finding the accused teacher.
