In Balewadi, residents of the Perfect 10 and Gini Viviana Society are unhappy with the recent digging of a newly made footpath that was constructed from Smart City funds. The footpath was built for the convenience and safety of pedestrians and was in perfect condition before the laying of the MNGL pipeline began.

The residents have expressed their disappointment and frustration at the careless and insensitive attitude of the authorities. They claim that their hard work has been undone by this pipeline work, which could have been done before the footpath was constructed, thereby saving people’s money.

The residents are seeking clarification from the road department responsible for giving permission for this work. They also want to know who will take responsibility for repairing the footpath and a timeline for the same. The residents are deeply concerned about the inconvenience and safety hazards caused by the damage to the footpath. They hope that the authorities will take swift action to rectify the situation and ensure that such incidents do not happen in the future.
