Pune News: DLRC Team wins second position at 7th IISER Pauling Memorial Quiz
The Drive Change Learning & Resource Centre won the second prize at the 7th IISER Pauling Memorial Quiz.Â
Grade VIII students Arin Jain and Palash Gang represented the school at the quiz held at IISER, Pune. The event witnessed the participation of many middle and high school teams from various schools across the country.
The quiz focused on scientific facts and scientific history, and the young team from DLRC impressed everyone with their knowledge and performance. They cleared multiple rounds to make it to the final and eventually secured the second prize.
A total of 62 teams participated in the quiz, making it a highly competitive event.
The DLRC team’s achievement is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and passion for learning. It is an inspiration to all young students who aspire to excel in science and technology.
The DLRC management and staff members congratulated Arin Jain and Palash Gang for their remarkable achievement and wished them all the best for their future endeavors. When talking with Arin’s mother, Nidhi Jain said, “As a parent, I feel very proud and satisfied as he is accumulating great knowledge from his surroundings. Arin has been interested in science since his early childhood. He used to perform science experiments and read science magazines and books. He also subscribed to many science youtube channels, websites, and newsletters, which he keeps watching to get more information. Many more to go.”
