Pune News: DPDC Meeting Today To Focus On Comprehensive Mobility Plan And Other Issues
Pune, January 30: Pune district guardian minister Ajit Pawar is set to chair the first District Planning Committee (DPDC) meeting following the recent Assembly elections. The meeting is scheduled for today evening at Council Hall, where key political leaders from the district are expected to participate.
Several prominent figures, including Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol, Maharashtra ministers Chandrakant Patil, Dattatray Bharne, and Madhuri Misal, are likely to be present. Additionally, leaders from opposition parties, such as NCP chief Sharad Pawar, Baramati MP Supriya Sule, and Shirur MP Amol Kolhe, are also expected to attend.
The DPDC meeting is anticipated to address crucial developmental issues concerning Pune district, outlining plans and priorities for the coming months. The meeting will discuss points such as revision of Pune Municipal Corporation’s Comprehensive Mobility Plan, Pune Metro Phase 2, Navle bridge work, and an overview of traffic congestion issues in Pune city.
