Pune: A woman created a scene under the influence of alcohol at Jagtap Chowk, Wanawadi, around midnight on Saturday (14th February). According to initial reports, the woman had just returned from a party at a pub near Pune Station.
RTI activist Lalit Sasane immediately alerted the Wanawadi police station by phone and lodged a complaint regarding the incident.
According to eyewitnesses, the woman was behaving indecently in public, causing a traffic obstruction as a crowd gathered at the scene. Local residents tried to contact the police to control the situation.
Lalit Sasane brought the matter to light, demanding prompt action from the police. Local citizens and social activists expressed their displeasure, urging authorities to maintain public discipline and take swift action against such incidents.
