Pune News : Fire breaks out at jewellery showroom in Wanowrie

In an unfortunate incident, fire broke out at a jewellery showroom in Parmar Park in Wanowrie today morning. The fire was reported by the passerby to the control room.

Giving details about the fire incident, Fire Officer Kailas Shinde told, “We received a call at 6.47 AM to the control room and rushed to the spot to extinguish the fire. One water tanker and two fire tenders were rushed to the spot. One of our team member fireman Nilesh Wankhede while saving the cash from the cash counter injured his hand in the incident. We ensured that most of the silver items from the store are saved in the incident.”

Fire tenders from Kondhwa Khurd and Hadapsar were rushed to the spot. The exact cause of the incident is unknown. The Fire officials who were involved in extinguishing the fire were Kailas Shinde, fire officer, Kondhwa Khurd, tandel Mahadev Mangade, fireman Sagar Dalvi, fireman Nilesh Wankhede, helpers Dinesh Dagade, driver Chokhande Satyam.
