Pune News : Complaint filed against B U Bhandari and M & M Realtors for causing Rs 2.16 crore fraud

Pune: A man from Chinchwad was duped of Rs 6 lakhs by 4 fraudsters between May 12 and June 5.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Shashikant Chavan, Police Inspector, Lashkar Police Station said, “The complainant is identified as Amber Jagtap, has filed a complaint against the four accused, identified as Arjun Thackeray, Maheshwar Reddy, Chiraguddin Shaikh and Noor Jahan Shaikh all residents of Pune.
The incident took place between May 12 and June 5 at Aurora Tower on MG Road. Jagtap was lured by the accused to invest money in their company Atomic Trade Palace. Maheshwar Reddy also pretended to be a public servant by showing a photo of him wearing a military dress. He promised to give two per cent return every day if Jagtap invested in their company. Therefore, Jagtap invested around Rs 6 lakh by cash and online payment. However, after receiving the money, the accused threatened and abused him without returning the amount.”
As per information from Shashikant Chavan, one of the accused Chiraguddin Shaikh has been arrested by the Lashkar police on July 3. A case has been registered against the four accused under Sections 406 & 108 of the IT Act. Further investigation is going on.
