Pune News : From Bhosari to Nepal – Cyclists to celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav
Bhosari: A team of seven people will be going to Nepal from Bhosari to celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav on bicycle. They will be starting the journey of 2023 kilometres from February 12 and are expected to reach Nepal on March 4.
Prashant Jadhav, participant of this cycle rally said, “ We are a team of seven and we go on rides to different places in every 2 years. This time to celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav we are going to Nepal, this will be a 2023 kms ride. We will be having our backup with us, that is an ambulance van and a cook to avoid any health issue.”
He added, “Another reason to go on cycle ride is we have interest in it and it helps us to stay healthy. During the journey we have planned to visit few important heritage sites, such as Jhansi, Ayodhya, etc. Last time we had gone to Wagah border on cycle and to Leh Ladakh.”
