Pune News : Gagan Adira residents in Wagholi protest against builder
Residents of Gagan Adira built by Gagan Developers in Wagholi protested against the builder for not delivering amenities, parking, handing over flats without required permissions for elevators, fire fighting equipment, etc. The residents also alleged that the builder has converted the upper basement parking into flats and sold it to people.
The residents further stated that the elevators in the society have no required permission from the government, the fire fighting equipment are not installed, CCTV surveillance systems as promised are inadequate, there is no management for waste, water in the society.
When Pune Pulse spoke to Dr Pawan Sonawane, a flat owner in Gagan Adira stated that in a society of 264 flats there are only 150 parking allotments. The elevators have no maintenance and are installed without proper permissions. The amenities as promised are not complete, refugee flats are not ample to occupy 264 flats, etc. We are now awaiting Ashok Pawar, local MLA of our area, to arrange our meeting with the PMRDA chief soon. If he is unable to give a satisfactory answer, we would take another stern step and approach the local police.
Another resident, Anil Hargude, stated that this is a complete case of cheating the consumers. We have paid the highest amount to buy the flats in Wagholi and are delivered nothing but an incomplete project. The newly launched building has led to cracks in our building. All these years, we only heard his replies silently but not anymore.
When Pune Pulse spoke to one of the employees from the Gagan Adira’s builder office, he said that the residents had a parking issue which was already sorted out recently and the elevators have all desired permissions being taken. The company representatives were not available for any comment.
