Pune News : Garden in Kondhwa Budruk Yet to Welcome Public Despite Completed Developments
Pune : Despite being fully constructed and equipped with all necessary facilities, a garden near Essensia Phase 1 Society, located behind the HP Petrol Pump in Kondhwa Budruk, remains closed to the public even after 1.5 years.
Chhabil Qasim Patel, the Founder of Kondhwa Vikas Aghadi, expressed his concerns, stating, “The garden has been ready for 1.5 years. Initially, officials claimed that the lack of water facilities was the reason for its closure. However, even the water facility is now available. Therefore, I urge the authorities to open the garden immediately for public use.”
Alamgir Jamadar, the Head of Kondhwa Budruk Co-operative Housing Society Association, revealed that they have been in regular communication with the authorities since February of this year. He mentioned that the water pipeline, which was missing during the initial construction phase, has now been installed. Jamadar emphasized the need for the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) to promptly open the park for public access since all the necessary preparations have been completed.
Pune Pulse attempted to reach out to the relevant municipal officials for comment, but they were unavailable at the time of reporting.
