The famous Pandit Nehru Vegetable Traders Association-sponsored Navratri Festival in the Hadapsar area is set to be celebrated on a grand scale this year. A magnificent display featuring Jejuri’s Khandoba and Tuljapur’s Tuljabhavani temple will be created, offering thousands of devotees in the Hadapsar area the opportunity to enjoy the divine experience under one roof.

This marks the 20th year of the festival, with last year’s theme featuring the three-and-a-half Shakti Peeths under one roof, attracting thousands of devotees, particularly women. This year, for the first time, an elaborate display is being crafted under the guidance of renowned cinema art director Sandeep Inamke beneath the Hadapsar flyover.

The display will include Jejuri’s Khandoba, Mhalsa, Banai, a grand Shivling, and Tuljapur’s Bhavani Devi along with the festival’s deity, all in one place for devotees to seek blessings. As part of the tradition, women who have made significant contributions to various fields in Hadapsar will be honored with the Shakti Peeth Award. The event will also see the presence of several political dignitaries.

Festival organizers, including Balasaheb Bhise, Shailesh Navale, Pritam Badde, Anil More, and others, are working tirelessly to ensure the success of the celebration.
