Pune News: Major Traffic Diversions Implemented For Ghorpadi Railway Flyover Construction
Pune Traffic Police have announced significant traffic changes due to the ongoing construction of the Ghorpadi railway flyover. To facilitate the project, traffic will be diverted, and motorists are advised to use alternative routes.
Vehicles traveling from the War Memorial area in Ghorpadi towards Mundhwa will now be redirected via Kendriya Vidyalaya Chowk to Ghorpadi Police Chowki. The route from Mundhwa and the Ghorpadi railway bridge will only be accessible to two-wheelers, rickshaws, and cars, while goods vehicles, heavy trucks, and buses are prohibited.
Heavy vehicles traveling towards the Ghorpadi War Memorial must use Solapur Road, BT Kavade Road, and Sopanbaug Chowk as alternative routes.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Amol Zende has urged citizens to follow the new traffic arrangements and submit any suggestions or complaints in writing to the Pune Traffic Police, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Yerawada Post Office, Jail Road.
