Pune News: Massive fire breaks out at a factory in residential area of Kalewadi

A massive fire broke out at a factory in the city’s Kalewadi area after a cylinder exploded. The blast was such that it affected six small factories in the vicinity.

At around 10 am, a major fire broke out at a garment factory and a paper plate manufacturing unit in Kalewadi. A gas cylinder also blasted. Smoke was seen billowing out of the sky due to fire.  

The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) fire brigade rushed to the spot to extinguish the flames.
