Pune News: Mont Vert Vivant Society In Wakad Hosts Blood Donation Drive, Collects 23 Units To Support Life-Saving Efforts
On the occasion of the ongoing Ganesh Festival 2024, Mont Vert Vivant Society from Pink City Road, Wakad, organized a blood donation camp on September 15, 2024.
As many as 23 units of blood were collected through voluntary donation during a daylong drive organized by Mont Vert Vivant Society. The drive was held in coordination with Jehangir Hospital Blood Bank to ensure that the blood units donated reach the needy patients in time.
The camp was organised under the theme “Donate Blood – Save Lives”. And the word was spread through a drawing competition held in the society where kids contributed wonderful paintings which echoed the theme of the camp.
The blood donation campaign saw an overwhelming response from the society residents, friends their off, and volunteers from all walks of life. Where as many as 36 people aspired to donate and 23 donors could effectively donate blood
The event has contributed immensely to renew the society connection and reaffirmed the commitment of the Mont Vert Vivant to stand shoulder to shoulder with patients who require emergency infusion of blood.
