Pune News : MSRTC Introduces QR Code for Easy Access to Shivajinagar Bus Timings and Other Information

In a unique initiative to provide convenient access to bus timings, reservations, discounts, and other information at the Shivajinagar bus stand, the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) has introduced an integrated QR code system for citizens.

Passengers can now scan the QR code to gain access to the schedule of buses at the Shivajinagar bus stand, along with details regarding reservation rules, refund procedures, and available travel fare discounts. To access the information, passengers and citizens simply need to scan the QR code and share it with Google. They will then receive a link on their contact number, which, upon clicking, will grant them access to all the mentioned information.

Dnyaneshwar Ranavare, Senior Manager of the Shivajinagar Bus Stand, expressed that the QR code system will simplify the process of checking bus timings for people using the Shivajinagar bus stand. This project marks the first of its kind in Maharashtra, and according to his knowledge, QR codes will soon be made available at other bus stands in Pune as well.

This innovative approach by MSRTC aims to enhance the convenience and experience of passengers using the Shivajinagar bus stand. By leveraging the power of QR codes, citizens can quickly access relevant information, enabling smoother travel planning and a more efficient use of public transportation services in Pune.
