Pune News : Nandkishor Kotkar takes oath as President of ISHRAE Pune Chapter for 2023-24

Pune : The Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) announced the appointment of Nandkishor Kotkar as the Incoming President of ISHRAE Pune Chapter. Nandkishor Kotkar assumed the role of the President for year 23-24. New committee members are also appointed for the year 2023-24 to serve ISHRAE’s Pune Chapter. According to the new appointments, Ashutosh Joshi took over as President-Elect, Subhash Khanade will assume the role of Secretary, and Chetan Thakur as the new Treasurer.

The announcement ceremony was held at Hotel Tip Top International Wakad, Pune in the presence of the National Immediate Past President Ishrae N S Chandrasekar and other dignitaries such as Pankaj Dharkar National President Assocham GEM, Shri Arvind Surange First President ISHRAE Pune and Former National President, RS Kulkarni Eminent Technical Consultant, Ramesh Paranjape Eminent Refrigeration Expert, Mihir Sangvi National President RATA, Vikram Murthy Former National President ISHRAE, Manish Gulalkari Divisional Director ISHRAE west 1, Raja Shriram President REFCOLD Chennai, Preeti Mhaske Guinness World Record Winner, and Cyclist, DK Shami National Fire Marshal, Ashok Menon Former Director Goa Fire Services, Ajit Raghavan President Fire and Security Association of India, Dipen Mehta Treasurer Fire and Security Association of India, etc. dignitaries were present.

Dr. Anil Kashyap, President & Chancellor NICMAR, were present as the keynote speaker for this event.

ISHRAE Pune has done many good things about environmental protection like tree plantation, sampling donation, lake restoration project, green Conclave, and started the Five Element Award to recognize the efforts of various building industry leaders.

According to the information given by the President of this program Virendra Borade, a lot of contributions and programs will be organized by ISHRAE for environmental protection last year on behalf of the Pune branch. Last year, various programs were organized throughout the year with the concept of earth environment and transformation under the motto speed pace, in which mainly tree plantation, lake redevelopment, tree donation, environmental wari, and various workshops were contributed by Ishrae Pune through social and educational means. This year, the swearing-in ceremony of newly elected president Nandkishore Kotkar was held on 8 April.

Many delegates were present at the venue from consultants, Contractors, Manufacturers, traders, and OEMs of the HVAC & R community from companies. It would also be attended by various heads of associations like RATA, FSAI, etc.
