Pune News: NIBM Undri Road Reopens After 8 Months, But Several Key Roads In Kondhwa Still Closed
Residents of NIBM road, Mohammadwadi, Kondhwa, are facing ongoing issues with road accessibility as one out of six major roads in the area remains closed due to prolonged construction. The road from Clover Hills to Clover Hills Plaza, which was under development to reduce the gradient, has recently reopened after more than six months. This stretch of road, often prone to congestion, was a major concern for local residents.
After 6 months of rigorous follow up with PMC, the NIBM Mohammadwadi Undri road is open for vehicles. Despite the reopening of this road, several others are still under construction, causing significant inconvenience:
1. Sunshree Kangan to Cloud 9: The roadwork on the left side has been incomplete for the past 1.8 years.
2. Elina Living to Raheja Premiere Circle: Half of this road is closed due to ongoing concretization by PMC.
3. Raheja Vista Premiere to KP Stellar Building:Construction has exceeded its mid-June deadline and remains incomplete.am:Â
4. Dorabjee Paradise Bungalow Society to KP Stellar (Rich Street Cafe):This road is closed due to concerns over high-tension wires crossing over a bridge.
5. Somji Bus Stop (D Mart, Kondhwa Budruk) to Punyadham Ashram: This road has been severely neglected, resulting in a bumpy and hazardous ride.
Local residents and Pune Pulse have continuously raised these issues with the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) to address the delays and the ongoing inconvenience caused by these construction projects.
