Pune News : PCMC appeals to use water efficiently amidst water shortage

The Water Supply Department of the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has stated through a public appeal that the citizens must use water efficiently.
It has appealed that providing water supply to each & every floor of societies is impossible & urged to the citizens to store water in the common water tank. This water can then be pumped into individual homes through the internal pipes. This water can be stored into the home tanks for further use.
Also, those societies who do not have the system of storage tanks should build storage tanks for citizens to get seamless water supply from the PCMC as it is not the responsibility of the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation to supply water to every floor of the society.
