Pune News : PMC demolishes two unauthorized buildings in Undri
Pune Municipal Corporation’s Building development department undertook a demolition drive at Survey Number 51 and 59 in Undri and razed an area of 30,000 sq feet. Two buildings of five floors each were demolished by the PMC.
The action was taken by zone 1 of the department under Guidance of Yuvraj Deshmukh, superintending engineer, executive engineer Pravin Shende, Sandeep Shinde, Shailendra Kathwate, Gopal Bhandari, Anup Gajjjalwar and police inspector Raju Adagale.
Ten workers, one jcb, two breakers and one jaw cutters were pressed into service. Two unauthorized buildings were demolished. The drive was held under the supervision of Kondhwa police station personnel. Pune Municipal Corporation is taking stringent action against illegal buildings and demolishing them. The fringe villages had several such buildings but PMC has taken up a serious task of razing such buildings.
