Pune : Security guard arrested for misusing mobile phone at SSC board exam centre in Bibvewadi

Pune: Bibwewadi police on Wednesday, March 15 booked a lady security guard for allegedly carrying a mobile phone at the board exam centre. Kisan Bhujbal, flying squad head had given a complaint regarding the same, said officials.

According to Police, Manisha Kamble was deployed at Yashwantrao Chavan Madhyamik Vidyalaya for the 10th board exam duty. In a surprise raid by the squad on Wednesday, Manisha was found using a mobile phone and had clicked some photos of the exam question sheet.

Kisan Bhujbal said, “It is not allowed to use electronic gadgets at the board exam centre but Manisha was not only using a mobile but also clicked photos of the exam paper sheet. Hence we have registered a case against her and respective invigilator.’’

Senior police inspector Sangita Jadhav, said, “We have booked two accused for violation of Maharashtra Prevention of Malpractices at University, Board and other Specified Examinations Act and seized electronic gadgets used by her.’’
