Pune News : Pune Police takes action against restaurant in Mundhwa over loud musicÂ
Pune: Social security department of Pune Police took action against the Bottle Forest Restaurant and Bar in Mundhwa for playing music at a high volume using a sound system and beyond permissible time limit. i.e, after 10 pm, which caught the attention of patrolling police officers and enforcers on 26 February.
Social security department officials took action against the hotel owner and manager and seized the sound system worth ₹3,30,000. While, the restaurant has been charged under the Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control of 2000) Act under the Environmental Protection Act, 1986.
The seized sound system has been handed over to Mundhwa Police Station.
