One notable measure is the issuance of prohibitory orders, banning the use of drones in the city during a specified period.

According to the official announcement, drone operations will be strictly prohibited in Pune from July 30 to August 2. The police have emphasized that anyone found violating this ban will face consequences under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

The visit holds significance as the Prime Minister is scheduled to inaugurate the extended Pune Metro line, which will connect Civil Court to Phugewadi and Garware College to Ruby Hall Clinic Metro Stations. Additionally, he will be inaugurating various city development initiatives aimed at boosting the region’s progress.

In view of the Prime Minister’s visit, the Pune City Police Department has heightened security arrangements to ensure a safe and successful event. The authorities are leaving no stone unturned to avert any potential security threats or untoward incidents during this significant occasion. Residents and visitors alike are urged to cooperate with the security measures in place for the smooth conduct of the Prime Minister’s visit and the associated events.
